Not that familiar with the 08 ranger. But could you drill a hole in the base of metal bracket of the seat to fit the seatbelt it? Maybe post a pick or 2. $100 doesnt sound terrible to me.

I have had this same problem. I used 2 muffler clamps I welded on a small tab drilled a hole for the bolt and clamped that aropund the pipe out of the cc. Bolted it up been good so far about a year.

I have a 97 ranger and have a similar problem but mine doesnt sync with yours as far as acceleration but I found filler neck hose has a bunch of cracks. Pretty sure thats where minie is coming from.
