I have a media only head unit too. I really only ever use my Ipod and phone, so I don't miss CD's at all.

I plan on trying it out this year for sure. Thinking of buying a new kayak just for Splitrock. Maybe a sit-on-top kayak with a couple rod holders.

Ive only been there once, and spent more time rowing than fishing...I'd like to go back and really concentrate on fishing. Hear good things about that place.

Fishing there is always slow. Didn't catch anything yesterday, but it was the only thing not frozen so I gave it a shot. Just felt relaxing to be casting into the water again. And nope, no fences....
