Use torque app and a bluetooth OBD2 scanner to monitor your trans temps. It can feel hit to the touch but still be in operatiiong temp

When you say turning, do you mean normal turning or at full lock? When I'm turning in a parking lot or doing a K turn on the street and get to near full lock, I get a bad grinding/rubbing noise....

Swapping my 60/40 bench to Explorer bucket seats was a terrific comfort mod. next comfort mod will be upgrading to a Colorado or a 150for even more roominess and a tilt wheel

Seconded on the Rancho 5 series. If you go to summitracing, there's a specification you can pick to select shocks for Stock +(extra leaf height) inches.
