The tool cost about 3$ and you only need it to remove it from the wall. Why would you need to crack open the radio?! All the wires you'll need to access are external.

U-shaped tools insert to stock ford radios and push a lever to remove the radio... yours is either aftermarket or broken....

I am trying to hook my 300 W amplifier to my 2001 Ford Stock Radio... The Amp reads power but when I hook my subwoofers to it, all hear is static. I don't know what wires to tap into the radio. Does...
