Thats kinda what I was thinking, rocker noise should go away with higher rpm.
This comes on at around 1800 rpm after the engine warms up and the oil thins out.
Also, doesn't piston slap start...

Thanks I will check that site out.
I changed the oil to 5-30 to see what the psi was and after warmin up for 10 minutes it dropped to below 12 psi, and then after giving it some gas and letting it...

Well, to 01DangerRanger and Mazda2500 I would suggest taking your slip-yoke on the drive shaft apart and greasing it liberally. Or in the 2wd truck's case, the slip-yoke to the transmission.

Greasing the slip joint was all it took for my truck, no problems all week. Put about 500 miles on this week.

Well, I think I have solved the problem, at least so far.
I took my rear drive shaft apart and saw no play in the u joints.
But I did notice some play in the drive shaft itself, the slip yoke....

I have a similar problem, and I don't think its fuel related, cause the engine never stutters. The engine runs smoothly the whole time.
