Re: Bedliner like sandpaper.

Rustolium is really rough. The duplicator is much smoother.

Re: How many miles do you have on your Ranger?

Mine runs and feels like it's brand new as well( at least I think that's what your saying). The lady that had it before me took really good care of it.

Re: How many miles do you have on your Ranger?

As of today I have 224893. As I just got the truck I don't know what has been done to the engine. I'm sure head gaskets are in its future.

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread IV

I'm a big fan of the BFG's but I had nitro grabbers on my ram 2500 and they are beasts. Never had any traction issues even with 1000+ ft lbs of torque.

Re: bed rust repair?

Agreed. That is a cut and weld project for sure. Either way you go with the patch, it's time for the bed to come off and coatthe underside with POR-15. Just make sure all the surface rust is gone. If...

I kind of figured that but I hit a few of the high points.

Re: RescueRanger96's Build Thread

Don't tell anyone but I skipped the frost 105 pages of this build.....but the truck looks good, well except those little girl shoes. Lol.

Re: The Cookie Monster Build

If you sell it, you'll regret it. I have sold 3 of them and keep getting another one. I would keep it and get something else to drive and use the ranger as a toy.

Re: Quinn's 2000 4.0 4x4

Nice. I run the stock suspension with the t-bars cranked just a but so the front end doesn't dive in the corners. I ran both 33's and 32's and it looked fine.

Re: The Cookie Monster Build

Yeah mine will have to stay on cause I help care for a 75 year old guy and of course my girls. But I didn't have them on my ram 2500 with a 6" lift and 37's. But it was funny as hell watching them...

Re: The Cookie Monster Build

I took the steps off my last ranger and had to put them back on after I lifted it so my girls could climb in.

Re: 2000 XLT "Shenron"

You could probably make it work but it's for the Rangers that have the roof gutters over the doors so it wouldn't look right.

Re: Superlift question

Trust what Logan, camo and the rest are telling you. These guys ARE ranger manuals. They have used the lifts and know what they are talking about.

Re: 3" body lift

No. In total I have helped install 5 of them and never had an issue. It's a good idea to have an extra set of hands for sure. Once you start lifting the cab go slow and keep an eye out for anything...

Re: Superlift with coilover

Interesting thread. I'm probably going to double lift Mt truck at some point so the info here is good to have.

Re: 3" body lift

I've had body lifts on 3 of my 5 Rangers and my 03 will be getting one soon. I have never had an issue with them at all. The bonus is that they leave you suspension at the stock configuration and...

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread IV

I hadon't the same problem with my 00. I had to soak the bolts in WD40 or PB. Then I heated them from the underside while my son hit the bolts with the breaker bar. Once out I cleaned the threads...

Re: bed rust repair?

Yes, you could put the mat back in. If you do go that route, put down plenty of bed liner. And keep in mind that it will eventually wear through that and the rust will start again.

Re: bed rust repair?

Yes, take out the mat. That is only helping the bed to rust faster. As for fixing the rust, there is a few ways you can do it. 1, cut all the rust out and weld in new pices. 2, replace the inner bed....
