Heater control valve is notorious for leaking.

Thanks guys for the info. Looks like that’s it. Think I will just get some rubber vac. line and make a connection. This plastic line is really brittle at 23 years.

Heads back to the firewall but haven’t been able to follow it under the distributor. Looks like I can disconnect at the black boot. Just need to find out what it’s called.

It comes out of a round plastic thing located below the air cleaner. 1996 ranger.

Yes, me either. Took me forever to figure it out. Only dripped when it was running and just happened to catch it while starring at the engine one day.

No familiar with your motor but I have replaced my heater control valve 3 times due to slowly leaking coolant. 1996 3.0 V6.

Just sold a 1995 xlt 4cyl. 2wd. With 297,000....
Just sold a 1995 xlt 4cyl. 2wd. With 297,000. Replaced the starter and battery and just kept up regular maintenance. Original motorcraft battery lasted 200,000 miles. The tranny died.
