I did not check the fluid prior to changing it. I went back with 80w-90

I did find one of the pump deals you recommended and I had the diff filled with in a couple minutes! SOOOO much easier!

The problem still has not been fixed. I have found that if I put the key in the ignition and turn to the accessory position and wait for the chimes/dinging to stop (10-15 seconds)...

After driving the truck for a couple of days, and letting it sit for about 20-30 minutes and starting the truck back up, there is no change. The truck still runs extremely rough when you start it...

What were your symptoms? Was it isolated to anything particular ... meaning after the truck had been driven; or only at cold crank or both?

I finally threw my hands up and put the ranger in the shop. He had it for a week and said all he could think of was the computer (ECM). He told me that I had replaced everything...

Pulled the IAC, used carb cleaner and cleaned it out, let it dry, reinstalled it and let the truck run and warm up. Shut it off for about ten minutes and cranked it up. Still ran rough. ...

Update -
I replaced the FPR with the motorcraft replacement part. When in with ease. Drove the truck for a couple of days and no change. I have not smelled fuel as of yet though.
Any other ideas...

I have noticed a faint smell inside the cab as well as outside the truck that smells similar to fuel.
Where is the FPR located? (sad that I just asked that question, I know)

I have checked plugs and wires. Everything seems fine.

Thanks guys. The sending unit (fuel pump) has been replaced with the motorcraft about a year ago. The fuel filter as well but I'll check both along with the maf as well!
