I just finished a few days of screaming serpentine belt nightmares on my 2002 Ranger Edge XLT 3.0.
The whole thing started with throwing a belt in my front drive way.
I guess that was a bit lucky...

How's my 3.0 for doing the plugs & wires...

Re: Hows your GAS MILEAGE on ur truck? Let me know here.

I'm getting about 15/mpg for the last two fill-ups.
90% short trips around town, 2-5 mies, minimum A/C usage.

Is that "Lucas Cyl. lube/injector cleaner" stuff useful.
Are any of the injector...

Re: Bed Drain Plugs

Good idea, will consider it.

Re: Bed Drain Plugs

I don't understand how a tube would help, in effect, it would just block the water flow from going out the holes.
I plan to just park with the bed angled down for natural drainage and before the...

Re: Bed Drain Plugs

So, what if I drill a hole right through the truck bed AND the liner.
Then, Little or No water at all can stay in there, which would be better, right?

Now that I think of it, this truck has been...

Re: Bed Drain Plugs

I have been thinking about this too and made a post a while ago.
Now, I do have a liner and last week it rained in the night.
I only have my 2002 for a month or so.

So, I pulled out to run to...

Re: back door broken

Just to add a couple notes to my SAGA of fixing my rear doors, in case it helps somebody.
At the very end, I had left the process of re-fastening the handle to the door frame, you know, where Ford...

Re: new member

Thanks Kealel,
Yes, it is an XLT and for a 2002, there’s not a scratch on it ! Only one small dent and you have to look real close to see it !! Only very light surface rust on under body frame, it...

Re: back door broken

Firstly, to answere my own question, there's no way to get the inner panel off without the door being open, at least on my 2002 Ranger.
Also.. Just use pliers and pull on the 2 cables and the door...

Re: Bed Liner Question

OK, thanks, I guess in the winter when everything freezes up here, I can ice skate in the truck bed, hehe!!

Wow, I learned something today about my truck bed liner.
(New Ranger owner)
Since I park my Ranger on a slight angle, where the hood is lower than the tail gate, when it rains, the bed fills up...

Hi, I don't mean to hi-jack this thread but I am at the exact same place with broken rear doors.
Since I can't open the door also, is it actually possible to get the inner panels off with the door...

Re: rear door latch on super cab

Thanks for this post.
I have both rear cab door latches to be fixed.
I ordered the alum. parts and saw the videos and may give it a shot this weekend when the parts get here.
Wish me luck.
