manny2294 You have spent way too much time and money installing parts and not enough time that I can tell with basic diagnostics.

You will have to check everything from the shifter to the transmission to find out what may have loosened up. Several threads mention a bracket at the shifter with two T30 bolts that tend to loosen...

A pin point test is a series of test that are completed because of a symptom or stored trouble code or both.
It is a series of diagnostic test done in order that lead you down a diagnostic flow...

Do you have a new motor or used engine or rebuilt engine?
Your choices are to get a factory service manual and diagnose the trouble code with the appropriate pin point test for the trouble code,...

On a 2000 you do not use jumper wires to pull codes. you will need a code reader.

I would say if the values change drastically with a new PCM then I would say for sure yes at minimum you would need a PCM.
But disconnecting the PCM during this test is not part of the diagnostic...
