Re: Off-Road 09 build

I'm pretty set on leafs. Simplicity is my main reason. Does anyone know if I can convert a axle with coils to take leafs.

Re: Off-Road 09 build

True lol. Honestly i'm doing this mainly for the lift. But do coils really make that much of a difference offroad?

Re: Off-Road 09 build

I agree. My dad has a 92 f350 with all leafs. Its gotta be the most uncomfortable truck ive been in. I'm not to worried about how it rides though. My wheeling is also going to be pretty light.

Re: Off-Road 09 build

That rides awesome. But I think i'm gonna go with whatever is easiest. So leafs look like the way to go for me.

Re: Off-Road 09 build

I read that I can keep my coil buckets and just add early bronco lift springs. I still can't find all the info I need. I got the basics though.

Re: Off-Road 09 build

So i'm back again on my SAS. I'm set on the D30. I'm having trouble deciding leafs or coils. Can someone tell me what I need for both. I have two axles located one is on leafs one is on coils.

I don't think I'm gonna do an axle swap. It's my daily driver and I don't want to make the ride rougher or really just mess with it at all. I'm still gonna buy a lock right for the rear though.

Re: Off-Road 09 build

Man the d44 on 37's looks badass. I'm gonna be buying a lockright pretty soon for the back axles. I'm gonna be looking more into sas or ttb. Cost is my main issue.

No bigger than 35's and my stock 3:73

Doesn't the 44 require the axles to be cut?
