Thanks. The old plate was corroded, and I was able to pound the dowels out and I'll use them on the new plate.

The local independent auto parts store suggested a little bit of anti-seize on it....

I'm replacing the clutch on my 1998 B2500, and the old pressure plate had 3 dowels that went into the flywheel. The new pressure plate doesn't have these dowels. Should I pound out the old dowels and...

Just to update, here's what the clutch looks...

Just to update, here's what the clutch looks like. Looking at the pressure plate looks, maybe that was causing the clutch to hang up when it got hot?

I'm pretty sure these are the original spark plugs on my new (to me) 1998 Mazda B2500.. The ignition wires were the originals. Ran pretty good considering.

Went to the post office today, and when I came out the clutch pedal was very stiff. Started the truck and it returned to normal, but when releasing the clutch pedal, the clutch would stay disengaged...
