Re: Water pump swapped, New leak now.

+1 to that. I just cahnged my water pump and timing chain. After 275,000 miles the factory originals didn't owe me anything. It was a major PIA, but now that I've done I thinkn the next one will be...

Harmonic Balancer Bolt

I'm in the middle of replacing my water pump and timing chain. I've read that some harmonic balancer bolts are torque to yield and cannot be reused.

I...

Lets try this again.

It should be a text file of live scan data.

----------

I just checked and for some reason the text file won't upload. Let me try something different.

Question Please see data.

01 Ranger 3.0 ffv 270k miles on the clock. Very weak running and shuddering. Get codes for cylinder 2 & 6 misfires. I pulled a good deal of live data and attached it.

Looking at the data I see...

Re: Another Cam Syncro failing story

I've replaced mine twice over the past 265 k miles. I used the "mark & stab" method, making sure to have it line up exactly as it did before it came out. Both of the ones I've replaced squeaked like...

Re: help

If the drip/hiss is coming from directly above it may be a nipple/elbow near the thermostat where one of the heater hoses attaches. I'm just going fro the top of my head from an experience years ago....

Re: Intake manifold torque specs

I was doing the top (pic A0032700). It was #1 bolt that snapped. I was taking my time with my 1/4" drive torque wrench. I actually had the wrench set for about 15 ft/lbs as 19 was at the upper end of...
