The driver side bolt snapped off and half of it is stuck inside the shock. The passenger side nut came off, but the bolt just spins. I guess I'm just going to have to cut the bolts out.

Help with rear shocks

I'm having a hell of a time getting the rear shocks off a 2wd ranger. I snapped the end off of one of the lower shock bolts and the other bolt just spins. Anyone have any ideas on how to get them out?

Does anybody know the true firing pattern on an 04 ranger. It's a 2wd with a 3.0. The plug wire/coil pack configuration in the Haynes manual and Google have it wrong.

Make sure the wires are on the right plugs. The wiring is backwards on the 3.0. Mine did the same thing after I put in a new coil pack, plugs and wires.
