Well, saying it was a bad ballast, I put my normal halogens back in. They worked fine 5 minutes before I unplugged them and tried the HIDs out. I highly doubt they'd be burnt out

all my other lights work, highs, passenger low, fogs, etc. I've read there's supposed to be a fuse in #8 and #10 but I have neither and my headlights worked fine, my truck didn't come with fogs but...

truck is an 01 3.0 and the motor has been changed out, I think computer as well, I've tried OSS, VSS, changing the cluster, nothing works.

The speedo, odo, and anything cruise related does not...

So it turns out my vss is on the rear differential, at least I'm pretty sure because I couldn't find anything anywhere on the transfer case that looked like the vss, so I went and grabbed the one off...

excellent. I actually have the transmission sitting in a trailer in the back yard so that makes this even easier.

The cruise hasn't worked since I've bought it, so I have no idea when the last time it worked. I've got a feeling it's that transmission speed sensor you told me about earlier. that would make a lot...

automatic, shifts fine if not a little hard. has cruise, cruise does not work.

The ABS light is on.

It did not throw a code.
the only code the truck threw was a O2 sensor that I fixed a few weeks ago.
As I said, the ABS light is on, would it be an ABS code?
