When I had lowered mine I flipped the mounts and replaced the rivets with grade 8 bolts.

I wouldn't do it that way again if I wanted to lower my truck again. It changed my pinion angle and...

I live in Canada and have never had any problems with 80w90 in the rear even on our ice cold -40 celsius winter days. I wouldn't stray from the recommended specs personally.

^Those fit bulky and do not stay on... Only good ones are the ones that are factory pressed/glued on the earlier steel wheels (not the 2010-11s which were also bulky).

I had those covers and lost...
