Re: smelly clutch, master cylinder maybe going bad?

Re: smelly clutch, master cylinder maybe going bad?

Is it possible the clutch rod popped out of place, then maybe slipped back in? Look up under the dash, and you will see a rod going from the clutch pedal and into the clutch master cy,l and also...

Re: on buying a ford ranger

I bought a '97 4cyl from a co-worker. Truck has 131,000 miles on it. He said the slave cyl is going out. The heater control that you use to choose how hot or cold you want, doesn't work. The...

Re: ScanGauge, who has them?

I have a scan gauge in my Jetta. It is good for all that stuff mentioned above, plus, if you try and squeeze the most mileage out of your vehicle, the gauge is a great way to monitor your instant...

Re: Clutch pedal bushing??!! Help

Thing is, it isn't the rod that is the problem, it is the bracket itsself that wears away causing the slop. If you click on the link I posted, you will see how the round hole is now oblong. I don't...

Re: Clutch pedal bushing??!! Help

What I am saying is, the rod that runs from left to right that your pedals rock on, has slop between the pedal and the rod. There is a gap I can slip the tip of a zip-tie in. It looks like there...
