Re: 1997 Regular Cab - rear window replacement

update: I called a few places and they confirmed since my back window is a 4-piece that the whole thing needs to be replaced.

That's a bummer. Is it really that hard to install a new panel in the...

Re: 97 - Power steering hose location

Will do. My apologies.

97 4x4 automatic, v6 4l ETF engine.

I can see where the hoses come out of the resevoir, but having a tough time locating the hose I would use to flush the system. The...

Re: Odd dash lights and taillights problem

The issue is fixed. It was fuse #3. I just thought it was odd that it happened when I was messing with the harness. Thought it was a bigger issue

Re: 97 4x4 ABS light stuck on

Ok. Unfortunately I do not have access to one of those code scanners. I know where the rear sensor is located. Do you know where the front one is located?

Re: Coolant leak - manifold nipple

I called a local mechanic and he suggested that they can be eliminated. The one to the right (rusted one) is the one that is leaking. Can I actually tie them together and leave both plugs left open?

Re: Coolant leak - manifold nipple

I know my question sounds stupid. Wouldn't it still be leaking inside and collect at the end of the hose and leak out?

Re: Coolant leak - manifold nipple

Should I JB Weld it at all before covering the hole?

You wouldn't suggest cutting the top off?

I'll give it a look when I get home from work. Would the compressor have anything to do with heat?

Re: No AC and heat

I'm guessing it's better to do on an incline because of the spillage?

I just tried the method. After about 3 squeezes I had to stop due to the spillage of coolant. It hadn't gotten hard yet, but...
