Timing chains sohc_dohc ???
Hi
One of the weakest links in the 4.0lt V6 SOHC & DOHC engine has to be the rapid wearing flimsy camshaft timing chains
Does anyone know of someone that manufactures better more robust timing...

Hi
Here in Australia we call them Ford Explorer and it is a 2/1998 vintage with a 4.0 Litre V6 engine & Automatic transmission.
After doing some off-road rough country driving on the weekend....

Great bit of information as we all know spark plugs from top to remove/install can be a nightmare and time consuming.
From the inner wheel wells makes life a lot easier.
