There is a way to do it but it's kind of a bitch to do, I would take the snap ring out of the master cylinder in the cab and pull the push rod back until a little fluid came out then put it all back...

Try changing your speedo cable, 94 was the last year for a speedo cable. They are like 23$ for an oem ford one

I would say its a pickup for the rabs system my old 1994 had the 7.5 rear end with rabs and it had the same sensor and connector. The speedo was driven by cables as well

Luk clutch kit is pretty much the oem clutch it also should include the little alignment tool that was mentioned. Make sure you get a motorcraft slave cylinder and throwout bearing assy if your going...

You describe it as a whistle/ howl? That sounds like a bearing or bearings in the transmission if its howling

Just take pictures of the wire cluster then cut apart dont waste a good day pulling the transfer case you can use butt splices and heat shrink tubing and be just as good as factory

Take the motor off and it will expose a shaft with a hex on it put a wrench on it and turn might have to try all 3 positions one is 4x4 hi ones 2wheel and one is 4x4 low

Dont get an advance auto or auto zoo unit, get motorcraft for that part my buddy went through 2 advanced auto pumps in 2 months and has now had motorcraft in for 2yrs

Maybe check u joints? Get under the truck and try to violently shake the drive shaft

Thats how my 94 with the 3.0 was, at 173000 it still grabbed like new when the slave cylinder worked. Mine also would sometimes out of the blue get nice and firm usually after driving for a while on...

Slave Probably going bad, on my old truck (94) it would do the exact same thing first it would last 3 months then it got to lasting a week or 2 and i bled it then traded it in
