UPDATE!

Ok I'm a dumb ass. I was reading the pressure with the truck off. So yes, there was pretty much no Freon and I have a leak somewhere. I was able to get the compressor to stay on...

This is not what I want to hear!! I was so pleased when it started right up. I think the truck is in good shape now, but I bought it for $500 and sinking $300 plus perhaps more like you said into it...

I have coils around my shocks, so I can't hold the top while I wrench on...

I was finally able to do a Vacuum leak test last night. I was unable to find any issues however. I used Throttle body cleaning fluid and sprayed every vacuum tube connection point and along the hose...

Ok, I did the compression test on the 4th and 3rd cylinders. #4 came in at 180 psi, and #3 came in at 150, en I cranked the engine again and it was 160, then 186...

Basically I cranked it good...

Never mind, just unplugging the fuse is fine.

Wouldn't a compression issue cause a rough idle? Or not necessarily?

On the 2.5l is it necessary to check the driver side plugs for a compression test or is the passenger side good enough? Thanks!
