I was fighting bucking issues on my 2.3 1996 Ranger for almost two years. After a lot of troubleshooting and cleaning of sensors and some replacements, I disconnected the Water Temperature Sensor....

Not sure about the creeping. In regards to the idle issue, sounds to me that you have a problem with the MAF. First check to make sure the connection is good. then you might want to clean it with MAF...

Ok. I think I found the reason the bucking was occurring. I pulled the codes and got p0340 and p1443. Neither of which caused my bucking. After I replaced the plugs, wires, cleaned all sensors,...

I have a 1996 2.6L 5 speed manual. I have a bucking, hesitation problem that comes and goes. I have had this truck for a year now and it did it when I got it but ever so slightly but now it is worse...
