got it running, ended up being the map sensor, unplugged it and it started, going to replaced and enjoy,

88 ranger troubles
i have myself an 88 ranger 2.9, both fuel pumps new, fuel filter new, checked relays,(checked good) pumps run, have spark, will try to start for second or two then stop hitting, im waiting for buddy...
