Well... it took them two days to get the truck to re-create the problem it was having... not starting without any warning.... and suddenly starting with no reasoning or Computer Code to tell us...

I'm having the same issue with my 1996 Ranger, as we speak....
It gave me fits back in 2009 and we changed the Fuel...

Re: should i buy this 03 Ranger

You should google up what that year is selling for across all boards.
Also, check the Kelly Bluebook for real value...

I usually go look on Craig's List and other...

Re: Returning - Still the SAME Problem....

Out of pure frustration I've had the truck taken to the Shop, where someone can attempt to have a scope on it and monitor when (or if) it won't start.

I could not get it started, at all, here at...

Re: Returning - Still the SAME Problem....

Would the Fuel Pump Relay be affected by the truck engine being hot, rather than cold? I will check out what pricing is, etc., but I am curious why this is never a problem starting when the engine...

Returning - Still the SAME Problem....

Hello all -

Re: Pcv valve repacement

I can hardly even get my hand back behind my 2.3L 4 cyl engine... let alone feel whether I actually have my hand on it.

It's impossible to see whether I might be grabbing the wrong thing or not.

Re: Best way to improve fuel milage

No offense to "Freemans 00", but when I bought my Truck - it's a '96 Ranger XLT, w/ 2.3L engine, 2WD - I drove it real easy like they say until the engine was considered broke in.... and then I took...

Re: Fuel Pump Shut Off Switch

More Good News.....

I started having more of the same old problems. Truck wouldn't start, then it would. Then, it wouldn't. Crazy, frustrating to point of wishing hand grenades were an option...

Re: Problems w/fuel pump fuse ?

Hello - I am new here, as well.

Not sure if my problem is similar or not. Have you taken it to a Computer readout machine? It may be there is an issue in the Computer control center.

My...
