I finally got around to doing this project.
I decided to install a locking drawer under the seat of my 98 Ranger.
While I don't plan on keeping valuables in there for very long, I think it's better...

Not sure why it's worse with the a/c on, but I had similar problems in the past that went away after changing the fuel filter.

That's a real good idea epicelite.
Bolting down a steel box with a heavy duty padlock sounds much better than some of the "TSA approved" lock boxes I have seen.

I found a local towing service that does some mechanic work too.
If you can find someone like this, it make all the difference in...
