It's 2wd with 67k. Had the VB gaskets replaced and solenoids checked.

So I just bought a low mileage 3.0 auto. The MPG sucks and trans seems to not be working quite right. On the freeway at 65mph no load, level, it tachs 2500rpm. Is this normal? I hit the OD off button...

New to Ranger Not to Ford
Just bought a 2002 XLT Ext Cab 4 dr 3.0 auto with 67K. In good shape but trans seems to not shift quite right. On the freeway no load, level at 65mph and it's taching over 2500 rpm. Is that normal?...
