Are the original wheels bad? I liked the factory wheels on my 2002 but were corroded. I had them powder coated bright silver and look great.

My F-150 w/ inline 6 cyl. had a fan that was taper lock fit. Could it be that? You just shocked it with a air chisel with a punch tool in it. Two burps and it was off.

We were on the right track with electrical. How about a blown fuse for the TCM. Doh!

Over the years the cold functioning condition has got worse. It would act-up in warmer temperatures (40*f). I have seen the info regarding the valve body gaskets so I ordered a set and replace them....

My '02 will rattle the timing chain for a split second intermittently on cold start. Does it more in colder weather. I change oil at 5k miles using a Motorcraft FL820S filter and 5w-30 high mileage...

Yes. It's a prototype, maybe off-tool, vehicle. The ID number was etched in all of the pieces of glass.
