I got the same problem now. All gone down but the truck still drives perfectly.

Thanks. Wouldn't it be strange for all of them to fail at the same time? Or are they running off some common component which has failed and now they're all dead...?

Done a bit more digging through this great forum and see that Mercon V is recommended for both transmission and transfer case in a manual.
So i'm safe with a synthetic Mercon V in my tranny and...
