Sometimes the timing chain is so loud it sounds like it wants to fkn bust. But I don't worry about it.

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread IV

Scored a bunch of parts off a fx4 level 2 at the junkyard. Seats, rubber carpet and misc interior stuff, front skid plate that I've been wanting forever, rear axle, 4x4 module (the reason I went to...

Re: No 4x4?!?!

Probably would get better help if you posted something helpful.
Try taking the motor off the t-case and seeing if it is seized or dirty inside. I have a similar problem but 4-hi works fine, it just...

Re: Yard critters, what ya have?

Saw a bobcat last week. Coyotes and fox. I've followed wolf tracks while out hiking, and saw one walking in the foothills. Lots of animals come up from the city too but they don't stay too long

Re: I Can't Be The Only One Who's Annoyed By The Seat Swap Tech Article

Drill new holes in the bottom of your seats and use some decent nuts and bolts to fasten your tracks to the new seat. A little bit of fabrication know how goes a long way... You don't have to be a...

Re: Weight limit?

Getting going isn't the concern. Stopping is what you should care about. If old Toyota RVs have the 22r four cylinder then your 2.3 can handle the load your talking about. I know about mountain...

Re: Lift kit $$

Re: Is it possible to find a 3"-4" lift kit for a 2010 4x4?

Readylift torsion keys gave me way more lift than my maxed out stock keys. FYI they are an inexpensive option that works and they do give more ground clearance. I don't scrape rocks that before I...

Re: How to: Front pinion, and axle seal replacement.
