I have a 2010 2.3 with a 5 speed, and yes, it does the same thing. It is an emission concession. If the idle settled down quickly, it raises emissions. It is normal. I get, all around, 25 to 26...

I looked on eBay, and the best I found was $336 plus $70 shipping. From a Ford dealer. I have a Super Cab 2 door. I can install them, no problem.

So who sells these for a reasonable price? My 5 year old grandson would use them and I like the look. They are a $100 option, and Ford Assessories, (I know, the spelling is intentional) offers them...

There are a couple of ways you can check the throttle position sensor. Both require a voltmeter. One is with the power off, the other, key on engine off. If you discount the connector to the TPS,...

This really sounds like a throttle position sensor. I haven't priced them lately, but I'm thinking $60 to $70.
