She needs a Suburu! No offense, we have both a Suburu Forester and a Ranger 4x4. The Suburu gets much better gas milage and is easier to enter and exit than a slightly lifted truck.

I sometimes carry plywood and or 2x6 lumber 10 or 12 ft long and that isn't easy with my 6 ft bed! I think I will have to look into a custom rack made of metal tubing that sits directly on the bed...
