Merkur turbo 2.3 swap

I have a 94 ford ranger 4 cyl 5 speed and just picked up a merkur xr4ti 2.3 turbo motor,wiring harness,vam and ecu anyone ever do this swap into this year of a ranger? Also can I put my head intake...

I would say no cause the Taurus is a front wheel drive and the motor mounts would be by all the belts

The fuel rail has the regulator on it. And even if the check valve was bad wouldn't make the pressure not go up high enough if it's staying at 25 if it's running the check valve really Isn't doing...

I got a 99 ranger 3.0 with low fuel pressure like 25-35 it stays like this running while revving up then u shut it off pressure goes to zero what could the problem be obviously it isn't holding...

well i checked my fuel pressure saturday and its not holding pressure and stays about 25-28psi while running do yall think its a fuel pump?

And when i say sluggish I mean very sluggish I could run circles around it with a 2.5 ranger with a blown head gasket lol and I was thinkin plugs wires and stuff to start out with then go from there

I found out specs only dif is 2.5 have higher stroke wich I'm just guna get one bigger than stock wich is .390 and how much of a dif would goin frm a .390 to a .450? May port and polish the head to...

I'm Thinking about putting a cam in my 2.5 would a aftermarket 2.3 cam fit ? I heard I can put up to 450. Lift on stock valve train is that right ? If not ill build head accordingly

Has a performance leo vince zxr pipe,after market variator and clutch and a carb cuts out at 3/4 throttle runs 40 mph stock is 38 and with it running good will run 45 easy and im guna fix it soon...
