First project done! I paid $129.99 for this awesome Pioneer car stereo. They were having a deal with a free installation and 25% off the parts for the install deal at BestBuy so I decided to let them install it. Good thing I did because the guy before me who bought the truck decided to hard wire an aftermarket cassette player that would have eventually sparked and blown a fuse. That was $25 dollars to fix.

Now pictures:

Update:

My truck cap is coming off this Wednesday or Thursday!! I found a place to put it temporarily at a friends place because they have more space than I and don't mind it being there for a couple of months! And it won't be going back on until I need it which might be never lol.

Thank you James! It's been a lot of fun!

I just installed the 49" Recon "White Lightning" LED Lightbar to my truck!

Nice build so far. Really nice truck. How are the stripes painted? Are those just plasty dip?

and it's funny that you're getting rid of the cap. Most people add those on ha ha.

If you really want to spice up the look of the truck, new rims and 06 mirrors would do that. And I could probably be done for under $250 if you buy things from a salvage yard.

Thank you! I try to take good care of my truck, I've driven five thousand miles in just over a year of ownership!

My family has a friend in the stripe business and did them for me, they are vinyl stripes! I'm getting more done on the hood sooner or later!

Haha I liked having a cap, but to me it looked weird with a single cab and short box truck, I would totally have one on the extended cab model Ranger, but this one also started cracking and the paint was peeling a little so I sold it for some extra money to put towards the truck elsewhere!

I've definitely looked into new rims and decided for now to go with plastidipped rims until I find some good ones that aren't too much. I'm going to definitely get the mirrors sometime soon!

Do you plan on going with some bigger tires and maybe a lift?

That striped looks great, once you block out the grill it's going to pull the truck together
