Default Kyle's '97 splash

I figured I would make a build log, I have done a couple mods to my ranger and wanted to display them like everyone else. But before that a little story about the truck. I bought it in November of 2012, I am the 3rd owner. When I purchased it the truck had just over 106,000 on the clock. I just recently turned 18 years of age and so this is my first nice vehicle. I thought I was getting a good vehicle, but the more I found out the truck is all but a lemon. The transmission was replaced before I bought it, the truck had been repainted and the motor had never been touched. I put 3,000 on the truck and was having heating issues so on weekends and after I got home from work my father and I would tear into the nightmare I purchased. The heating issue turned for the worst and we finally found that antifreeze was squirting out the back of the engine between the block and the head. We took both heads off and ordered new gaskets and head bolts. We then figured since the truck is torn down that far we might even go farther and repair the oil leak the truck had when I purchased it. The oil leak was a bad rear seal. We found out the clutch was soon to go out and replaced the clutch and throw out bearing. I worked part time after school so we were able to work very little after I got home after work, weekends were when the majority of the work took place. Splashy was out of commission for about 2 months, then she came alive. Every seal and gasket was replaced in the engine, the only thing that wasn't touched was internals. After a couple oil changes with the "fresh" engine I am noticing that the motor burns oil like its going out of style. About a quart of oil every 1,000 miles. It has been a rough road for splashy and I. This truck is cool though, so I might buy a new engine if it comes down to it. Enough of the history now its time to talk about mods! The part you have all been waiting for! A list of what I currently have are as followed: Explorer seats, Explorer console, Power Acoustik head unit, with Kicker 6x8's all the way around, power locks, Power Windows, Headlights, Billet Grille, 2 inch leveling kit, Flowmaster super 10 series, dumped after the cab, throttle cable mod, and while the engine was apart I painted the valve covers and manifolds, I also removed all the splash stickers. A list of what I would like to do is: HID's, Tinted Windows, a nice 12 in the back, Painted OEM wheels and possibly get my rocker panels bedlinered.

I recently got my new tires, I need to take a pic and upload it. But got a few shots of stuff in the interior. I finally got my power locks and windows done, work on passenger and drivers side of the door. Next to come is putting in my explorer console.
