Stewart's '97 XLT
Also I'm gonna have to get a new handle latch system since the plastic clips broke off of mine a while ago.. So no handle right now but that gives me time to paint the handle and the cover that goes on the back of the tailgate. I need new screws for that too.
Also he told me he got one of his guys to "buff" the whole tailgate, needless to say there are plenty of swirls now, I'll deal with that when it warms up. It's still the best looking paint on the whole truck haha.

This reminds me, I've had more ideas lately and found some good ref pics.
For one, here's the height after a 2/4 drop
Doesn't look bad even with 14's
Then when I do get wheels, I've been thinking chrome soft 8's
Combined we have this
And color added
Thoughts? Like the first one or second more, or combined more?

First of all, the 2/4 drop looks damn perfect.
I really like the last picture you have there. Those chrome rims really look good with your color green. I like the very first one though, it really don't look bad with the old deer hoofs. But that last picture. I'm my eyes that's your future truck.

Yess looking pretty perfect. And soft 8's aren't even that expensive (chrome are about $400 for a new set). 2/4 rocking the 14" for some time wouldn't be so bad either tho so aside from the tread I don't have it's not a big deal lol.
Just the right amount of sportiness, keeping it clean, raised whites, and chrome <3 almost vintage in a old muscle kind of way.
