yeah yeah me to I keep forgetting my camera at work and I havent been working on it lately I have been just getting body work done a little at a time a guy at work has the fenders right now trying to get them straight again

Just a small update and I mean small I havent had time to work on it on that my wife is about to give birth but I did manage to get the engine on the stand today and start taking it apart for the build up of the engine for the turbo set up that I am going to run on my 2.3

I also gutted the interior and the engine bay





I am going to shave the tailgate and put a smooth skin on it

Ok so I started tearing apart the motor because I am going to turbo my 2.3 and I just want to see what kind of job this guy did on the rebuild and it didnt start or end well

these are the valve cover bolts and none of them are the same


then after I got the valve cover off I found that the head bolts were all different


and i found that the harmonic balancer was broken and wrong for an 87 and the bolts were not the same length

AND the FINAL STRAW in the coffen NO DAMN HEAD GASKET


there was other bolts loose like the distributor drive pulley and other various bolt loose


the head gasket missing just blows my mind cause the guy said he was close to firing it up when i bought the truck from him people are such idiots to try to pull something like this over on people its just dumb to me

ok just a little update finally got some parts ordered and bought I got the gasket set and head bolts and I also ordered the front grill and headlight covers, headlights, and clear corners and turn signals for the gen 2 front end swap now I need the bumper and bumper filler and fenders to finish that. I will post pics when the parts get here
