Rumor has it he did. lol. I don't know for sure.
If I ever visit North Dakota, I'm bringing you some confidence, and Axel Boy some common sense.

That's awesome. But don't doubt your automotive skills man. None of us got where we are overnight. We all started out on small projects just like you, and worked our way up to what we do now. Keep doing small projects and you'll become more comfortable with working on vehicles.

Actually, you'd put wood blocks on a lathe and then turn new bolts out of wood.

Yeah I know what you mean. This is actually the first time I've jacked a vehicle up before. I do like to mod my ranger but my whole family just puts it down and I don't wanna ask my dad for help because he thinks it's another "project that he will end up doing".
I would really like to get the shackles installed to prove them wrong. I think i could have done that if the top bolts didn't get stuck.

Problems are part of every job. Anything you do will most likely have problem (wrong part, stuck bolt, not the right tools, etc)
I would get 8 new bolts on your way home from school one day. Never put old rusty bolts back on anything. local hardware's have them so cheap its not even worth the hassle of dealing with nasty bolts
