I didn't have a pipe. Getting the bolts loose wasn't the problem. The problem was getting the top bolts all the way out. I spent all day since 9 am working on it and nothing.

I already put everything back together already. The top bolts won't even tighten or loosen anymore either. So I will be driving my brothers truck for now.

The caged nut fell out of position. Easy fix

get a light and look on the shackle you will see a caged nut resting on top of the shackle simply move that back into position. I had the same issues with mine

Because you don't have the proper tools. Get a small metal saw Like so. And start cutting

You can't stick a screw driver or something in the other side and pound it out?
