Your lucky. I had ford fix mine once already. The price for having them do it again or buying the manuals were pretty significant and I now know that they will last now.

Hahaha okay. Was the shop, Ford? These transmissions aren't to great. Mine has been acting funny once in a while since I got mine.

It was looked over by the mom and pop shop that did my head gasket, radiator, and heater core. They looked over the whole truck to see if anything else was bad. My tranny slipped really badly when I got it. It didn't slip all the time but when it did it was bad. I took it to a transmission place and they put in something that made it shift perfectly. I forget what it's called. But that trans shop said there were no shavings in my trans.

i would have sent you my old hubs for the cost of shipping if you'd have mentioned they were bad before you bought the manual ones

You would have sent me manual locking ones or pvh? I wouldnt want the pvh to be honest. With my manuals I now know for sure that 4x4 will engage when I need it.

Go with the manual hubs. $130 on amazon and 30 mins worth of installation. I definitely wouldnt buy any more pvh.
