junkyard beds are only around $300 i got a color matching, rust free one for my s10 like last year

trust me guys...i cant find anything within 300miles of where i am in any junkyard or craigslist...the only bed i have found is off a 96 and its green and its got a dent on the driver side and they want $600 for it!!
this is minnesota, and ranger parts are hard to find....stuff gets grabbed so fast!! one good thing is there are tons and tons of explorers in the junkyards..lol

Drive to duluth mn and go to the big junkyard up on the hill. I was there this summer and counted more than 60 1993 and up rangers all lined up together. That's where you need to go. Look it up online im not sure of the name of it

Well im getting it fixed....and also getting my powerdome hood and grille painted.

^^^^^ Reading this inspired me to drive from NJ to OH to pick up a powerdome hood and fender flares. And go to Cedar Point too, but still I drove 1000 miles for Ranger parts!

Truck goes into the shop on monday..i dropped of my powerdome hood and the patch panel at the shop today...and paid him..
He and his employees were working on a 2001 Chevy Silverado, they patched up most of the bed sides along the wheel well and the back corner of the cab, he says he does alot of patch work on chevy's!! They rust out so fast!!
He's a ford guy himself, he has a fully restored 70 Ranchero, and many other vehicles. Another project he is doing for a customer is a 1968 GTO!!
He also had a 2009 F-250 in the shop that he's fixing front end damage from a deer.
He has a whole pile of cars outside waiting for work, but he say's mine goes right to the front of the line!!! 1, cuz im a fellow motorcycle rider and friend, and 2 he knows he's getting paid...lol.

Started prepping my truck for the body shop..it goes in tomorrow morning.

I removed the rear bumper, removed my 4x4 and frf.com decals off the bedsides.
Cleaned out the cab and the bed.
Took it to the selfserve wash and spent $6 to wash and scrub it..

Here the last pics i will take of it looking like this..

In the next pics it will have a sweet powerdome hood and the grille will be black and red...and my bedside will be good as new.
