My 2000 Supercab Diesel from Brazil (pic heavy)
Hello to all you. I've already posted sometimes, but now i started to do some mods on my truck, so i decided to share the progress over the time.
It's a 2000 Ford Ranger Supercab with a 2.5 Turbo Diesel engine.
Here it is the day i bought it:
The first mods are:
Side exhaust
Turbo Gauge
Blacked Wheels
Tinted windows
Forum Stickers
My mascot (Gift from my girlfriend) It's called Rusty
Explorer Overhead Console
Interior removed
Cleaned
Sealed with acoustic blanket (Floor, roof, all 4 doors, firewall, back panel)
Exterior door panels
Interior door panels
3" PA Body Lift
Shifter extension
Bed removed
Fuel hose extensions
Rear bumper brakets
Back in place
Crown Victoria Police Style
A very rusty cab bolt
Lifting
Block in place
Leaning (thats the scariest part when you do a BL by yourself)
Back to normal position (finally)
Almost finished
Finished (i need to take better pictures now)
Thats it for now guys.
Hope you all liked it
Feel free to comment and suggest things

Re: My 2000 Supercab Diesel from Brazil
So, some time passed since my last post, i did a new mod on my truck and want to show here for opinions.
I a put 3" Block on the rear and maxed the T-bars.
I know it's not a good way to lift a truck, but it's just experimental, if i don't like i will get it off.
And the block, it's massive iron, looks rusty because it has no paint, i will paint it black.
Now despite it looks dangerous it's very well locked in place.
But i'm thinking that 3" it's just too much, should i rip off a inch of the block?
And about the front, the maxed T-bars rides a bit stiff and the stock shocks are a little short.
The procomp es9000 is longer then the stock one right?
I want to put then since i need to change my shocks anyway, maybe it will ride a little better too.
And of course, i need bigger tires now!! hahahha
It's looking like a lifted shopping cart LOL
What do you guys think?
Any criticism is welcome.

Re: My 2000 Supercab Diesel from Brazil
how are those blocks locked in? they look kinda sketchy.... doesnt look like they are as wide as the other blocks and could come out with the right bfh

They are locked in a hole where the stock blocks used to be. So far everything is tight.

Re: My 2000 Supercab Diesel from Brazil (pic heavy)
New photos!
About a week ago, just the BL, no blocks at this time.
Here is the ride height
And this are taken today with the blocks on. (iPhone pics, sorry)
I will not cut one inch of the block, i ride her all day long today and it's ok to me, just need's bigger tires.
For now she will sits like this, after i got the tires, i'm seriously thinking on a proper suspension lift with coilover and stuff to replace this "hack lift"...
Let's start saving money!

Great looking truck. I agree though, you could use some bigger meats to roll on
