To answer your questions:
1: I'm happy with the torsion and shackle lift, yes. I decided to do that instead of the body lift because it brings the frame and everything attached to it up. That means my gas tank, crossmembers, and anything else underneath is higher than if I had bodylifted it, and that works better in the rocky/rooted trails we have here.

2: I have 4.10 gears, so they're deeper, but the 32s don't seem to sap much power, if any (at least compared to my stock sized winter tires on 16" steel wheels). When I still had an open rear diff, it still would spin one tire on dry pavement if I stomped on it.

I decided not to go with 33s because I wanted a skinny tire, and the extra .3" didn't matter to me. (Kumho lists a LT235/85R16 at 9.3"x32.0", and a 33x12.50R15 at 32.3").
My next step will probably be to a 35" tire, but between my tire size and a 33" there's almost no difference.

I also suggest, if you're going to offroad it, that you get good skidplates (joshp767 on here makes good solid ones), and look at sliders.

I don't know any other new sport builds, but they're basically a lvl1 fx4 with body coloured flares and manual doors/windows.

Nice, My sport has 3.73 gears so I will probably just run a tire around 32" until I feel like re-gearing someday.

I'm thinking Tbar crank, shackles and maybe a one inch bodylift. I used to be all about the superlift but I'm probably gonna end up SASing it at somepoint in the next 4 years.

Armor is definitely high on my list too. The rocksliders we put on my brothers wrangler have saved it multiple times haha.

Thanks for helping out.

Yeah its like a custom thing. You just buy the lift spacers from PA and buy your own bolts. The rangers don't need anything extended for 1 inch of body lift. A lot of people think its pointless but I think they look good with 32s and cranks. It also supposedly gives a bit of space for the wheels to move without hitting the bumpers in flexing scenarios.

Magnaflow catback with the axle dump, installed it yesterday. It sounds a lot meaner now, and the drone's still quieter than my tires on the freeway.

I also accidentally uninstalled my front skidplate a month ago, and I'm not completely sure how to get it back on. The frame threads have torn out twice, and I don't want to step up past the 3/8" bolts I have right now, I'll probably weld some tapped 1/2" flatbar to the frame and shorten the sides of the skidplate to match.

If I had a welder at home, or the foreman would let me work on my truck at work it would be fixed by now. A picture from last week, welding I-beams to 1/2" plate to mount a muffler on. The little welds at the bottom aren't mine.

Going out wheeling again today for the first time since January.

I'm sitting on explorer springs now, with the same shackles and stock blocks as I had before. Since the "How tall is your Ranger" thread is dead two years now I'll leave the photos here.
(My original post with Ranger springs)

36 3/4" to the front flare.

38" to the rear flare.

I also had my rear emblem fall off, so I peeled the flaking clear and nightshaded it. I think I like it, and I'll probably do the same to the front.

Maaaaaybe I'd make more posts in this thread if I did more mods, and maybe I'd have more mods if I had a welder.

$100? Deal.

I ended up with a 225A AC stick welder, and made up a project to try it out. My stock T-case skid's been caved in since last year when I smooshed it, so I made up a piece of 10ga to fix it. Radiused at 1" diameter, and plug welded to the stock plate.

Bonus points for anyone who knows what the orange welder is.

I was wondering if you would ever return. Skid looks good. Do you think it helps more than it catches?

Yeah, mine was caved in all the way from holding the truck up off of rocks, the pan under the transfer case had gouges halfway through the thickness of the steel so I added another 1/8" on the inside of it too.
I was wondering if I'd ever come back, too, a little bit.

I also bought another canopy, this one has aluminium rails, so maybe it'll last a little longer. Needs a good cleaning, but the fiberglass feels solid.

Nice looking truck! I've been debating cranking my t-bars slightly in the front, but haven't because I'm afraid of how the truck will ride.

Making plans!
I've been looking at the rear bumper on the Safari Pacific MX2 build thread for inspiration.
