It's all 2024 Aluminium (0.050, O condition so I could shrink it), wrapped in vinyl fabric. The cupholders are standard drop-in boat cupholders from a marine store. In a few days I'll get the proper ring terminals and wire the blue switch (highbeams) back to one of the silver switch, and hook up the other switches.
Edit: Also, no more canopy.

:,( no more canopy.... I don't think you really mean that.
BTW that's a sick little set up you put together

Re: Markiiu's 2006 Ranger
I'll go back to a shell someday, I'm sure, but the canopy was falling apart from age and neglect, so once the back window popped it wasn't worth anymore work. I got this tonneau for $120, and I'm planning to put a roofrack on it later this year.

Can you get a pic of it mounted in the door jam.

Re: Markiiu's 2006 Ranger
I'm planning to put them under the tonneau, or on my roofrack once I get one, so I'm not selling them. On a more positive note, they're http://www.amazon.com/Original-Quick-Fist%C2%AE-mounting-equipment/dp/B000CQPANY, and they're fairly cheap. If you can't use Amazon, have you tried a marine supply store? A lot of people use them to hold nets and things for fishing boats, I got mine at a marine store.

Re: Markiiu's 2006 Ranger
My cupholders came from West Marine, too, and I'm registered there as having a 12' Paddleboard. I tried to make a joke and said they were for a "Ford", but I guess the cashier didn't like my humour, and I didn't feel like correcting him.
Also, the west marine stock # for the Quickfists should be 7935935

Sweet, thanks for the info! I go to west marine a lot but always so much to see. I like it cause there stuff is what I need and doubles up as waterproof most of the time which is really nice.

Re: Markiiu's 2006 Ranger
I used a zipdisc to cut the valence, but I measured down from the top and laid masking tape as a guide for a straight line first.
Forgive the gross rims, I can't wash my truck in my new apartment, so they only get done every second week. The Hawk LTS pads stop really well, but they puke off heavy dust, even with waxing I can only get a week tops before they look like that.

Re: Markiiu's 2006 Ranger
Hey the truck is looking pretty sweet. I really like the sliders
I have an 07 sport 4x4 so I've been looking around for inspiration threads.
I have a couple of quick questions-
1. Are you happy with the torsion twist/new shocks and shackles vs doing a three inch body lift? (Mainly talking about offroad purposes)
2. How does the stock gearing hold up with the 32 inch tires and do you wish you had 33 inch tires? (I'm assuming you have a 3.73 ratio, correct me if I'm wrong).
Do you have any links to other 06+ Sport 4x4 builds? They seem hard to find.
I just had shoulder surgery so I have a few months till I can work on my truck. Just trying to get all of my plans together.
