Here is the new Yaesu FT-857

Goose-neck window mount

I ran all the wires in a similar fashion to the audio cables, but to under the passenger seat, where I have the main part of the radio. Pics of the antenna to come as soon as I get it in a few weeks (I'm running it on the 2M/70CM dual-band on the hood for the time being...)

just Got 1 1/2" of front lift out of the torsion bars... I think they are really sagged tho... Probably time to replace them after 107,000 miles lol. Pics to come later

ok, here are some before and after torsion crank pics.

Next to the neighbors 2001 XLT 4x4 4.0 Manual (all 3 of them are... Mine is in the middle)

The Picture doesn't show a whole lot, but the truck does sit at a slightly different angle than the stock white one.

And, sitting next to my friends (leaning...) avalanche... My Ranger'll kick that trucks ass all over the place if we ever go off-roading together lol.

Looking good man. I'm plannin on crankin my t-bars once it warms up and dries out. My truck has 110,000 on it, but isn't sagging nearly that much, I don't think. We will find out. Thanks for the comparison pix though!

actually, I decided against that... cause it turns out my friend doesnt have that either... she has the vynal floor... Its wayyyyy better than the carpet... just gotta wait till i can get one ordered. but itll be a while down the road. I'm doing as much as i can without ordering stuff as possible, then i'll tackle the stuff i gotta order.

donor truck...'98-03 4dr Edge w/ 120k on the clock. Vinyl was covered in dried grossness and other aweful things. pic makes it look good. lol.

That looks like a sweet, simple light setup... I like it a lot... My original thought was to do something similar to that across the top front of the cab, but I actually like the front look a lot better.

Maybe some time between the 21st and 28th? That's the only week I'll be readily availible in town... Supposed to take the girlfriend to the beach some time that week but not sure when yet. I'm government property till then, and south of Salem on and after the 28th.

Oh, and my drivers side fog light lens is busted, so we'll have to see if we can find another lens for it... On my tab if you want. I have no clue where to get one... The only junkyard around me has 2 rangers, that are completely gutted... Not worth looking at lol.

This is what i was planning on doing with the lights (on the cab, not bull-bar), but now that i see it, looks kinda gay...

Shanes look is wayyy better
