Just a little update. Got the rear bumper painted awhile back, just hadn't got a chance to post a picture yet.

I ordered some new tails and they got here a littler earlier than expected:

So a bit of an update:
Bought a 2000 passenger seat two days ago. Today I'll be cleaning it up, then swapping the cushions to make "stock" buckets. Unfortunately its a little bit darker than my stock seats so I'll be getting seat covers when it is finished.

As soon as that's done, I'll start on the center console! I still have to clean that up and get it painted as well. I ordered a shift boot for the explorer console and a new lid for the console (turns our mine's plastic frame was cracked and couldn't be repaired).

Hoping to have all of this done soon. I'll post pictures of the process!

So here is what I got done today.

Painted the sides of the console and center piece (they were tan but my interior is grey):

Dremeled out the center cubbies in order to put the gearshift through and hold the boot in place (eventually). Sorry for the blurriness:

Disassembled the passenger seat from a 2000 ranger that will soon be my driver's side bucket seat. Left with these tracks if anyone is interested:

Dremeled out the old air conditioning vents and making a custom fiberglass panel to cover the open space (will paint this when fiberglass is finished):

Got a little bit done today. Not much though because I had to go to work.

Painted the cup holders and the front piece of the explorer console:

Got the seat swapped. It's pretty dirty but I'm either getting both recovered or some seat covers anyways so that the colors and fabric patterns will match:

The fiberglass panel had to be scrapped, decided to rotocast it, then fiberglass the inside for reinforcement.

Outside:

Inside:

Still needs to be sanded down, retouched with filler, and painted with crinkle paint for a matched texture. The shift boot should be here any day now and as soon as it is, the console is going in. My dad surprised me and ordered some charcoal-grey and blue Neosupreme seat covers as well so I'm expecting those in the next couple weeks.

My seat covers finally came in, but then sent me two passenger seats so I had to send one back. I like the way they look though.

The center console is finished being painted and I'll be installing it tomorrow since I have work as soon as I get out of class today.

Got the center console installed yesterday. It actually worked out well because I got a code 27 on my airbag so I was able to solder an led onto the passenger airbag switch to fix it in the process of installing the console. I'm eventually going to mount the passenger airbag switch in place of the 12 volt connector on the console just so I can get some use of that opening.

A couple pics during the install (sorry for the bad quality, it was getting late):

After it was finished and the seats were in:

The custom back piece (probably going to repaint it with a textured paint):

I'm probably going to either get a black leather kit or paint the armrest black with vinyl paint. After getting the driver seat covered, moving the airbag switch, and putting in the dash LEDs, my interior will be where I want it for now!

Console looks sharp. Hell the cab looked good with just the bucket seats and no console!
