Finally got that new spring installed! It wasn't easy...even though it looked like it would've been.

I'm so jealous!!! Bronco's, and especially the late 60's ones, are my favorite vehicles! Keep up the good work.

Rear suspension is 95% done! Only things that needs to be done is bolts and nuts needs to be torqued down and brake lines to be installed.

Its been a long time since I posted on this build thread. So to get it up to date since the last post..
Rear suspension is all complete. New brakes (pads, springs, parking brake cable).
Tow hitch receiver installed
Front suspension is 90% complete
Interior has been stripped down to build roll cage and prep for bed lining.
Roll bar (cage) has been tacked together, just needs to be welded all around.

So my dad and I made a lot of progress this past year. We finished up the suspension lift, sprayed bed liner, painted the vehicle, put new fender flares, windshield, modified dash, built a 351W bored out to 393, got 35" BFG AT KO2 on Black Rock rims.
In the process of rebuilding 3 speed transmission and converting the Dana 20 transfer case into a twin stick.
Still to do is wiring which is 80% done, bolt down 8 point roll cage, seating, and then recheck that all is good to go.

Trying to get front drive shaft out of the transfer case. Damn bearing does not want to budge. Guess it's time to use some heat.

what's in the Plymouth for a driveline? SBC?

I ask because my father picked up a '47 Desoto coupe a couple of years back and has been swapping a 350 chevy & a Saginaw 4 speed. ever since then we've been looking for different options on how to make it work. just about got everything togeather at this point to be able to start the car but always looking for more ideas.

Thanks. Do you know what gear ratio you have? We have Locking 3.50 but going to get it re-geared. Prolly to 4.56 or 5.12.

I don't. Previous owner didn't know and I haven't opened up the diff yet to find out.

I would think 4.10 or 4.56 if you wanted highway/off-road.

Well I don't know if your axles have been modified or not but if you look up the axle code on the VIN number plate, it should tell you what you have if you're that desired to.
Well we are planning on running it with the 3 speed manual and might tow with it. Idk what toll the 35" has on it.

I couldn't trust the tag, everything else had been messed with so only one true way to know. You shouldn't have any issues with that motor though.
