Big Red's Build Thread
I don't have too much done to it yet, but the plans are as big as the truck. lol.
Current Specs:
95 F350
XLT
Regular Cab
Long Box
460 Big Block V8
Lifted (after looking at it with the guys at CarQuest, we think it has about 6-8 inches of lift, which makes sense, seeing as it's about an inch or so taller than my buddies truck that has a 6" lift)
35's
Dana 60 front
Sterling 10.25" rear
Mods to come:
Grille Guard
Winch
38's
Steps
Roll Bar w/ Lights
Bedliner
Some performance mods to be determined later
The morning after I brought it home
Next to my Dad's F250
A few days later:
Look at those leaf packs! That's all the lift in this truck. Super stiff ride, but a solid lift.
For being as tall as it is, it's surprisingly stable.
Steps are going on today, so I'll post some updated pics this afternoon sometime.

Re: Big Red's Build Thread
Why do you have a D60 in the rear?
It should be a sterling 10.25 and I dont see why anyone would take the time to switch axles when the sterling 10.25 comes stock.

Holy shit. You're right. I hadn't even checked yet, was just going off the paperwork from when I bought it. Fixed. lol.

Got the steps on yesterday evening, so I took some pics this morning.
And yes, I know the interior needs a good cleaning.

Thanks. I'm researching light bars for it right now, so that will probably be the next thing I do.

Yeah, it's missing a nice little chunk. I'll get a new one eventually, but I'm in no hurry.

That's what I'm thinking. Here's what I'm looking at. Same brand as the steps, too.

I figure 4 lights up top, plus two more mounted on the bumper should be plenty, right?

Those steps do look pretty good, and they're surprisingly functional. I didn't think it would make a difference to me, but I'm actually using them. lol.

I rarely go outside my small town, and I doubt I'll take Big Red when I do. lol. Besides, it's too tall for anyone to take my lights without someone noticing.

Only problem I've ever had with people and my lights is ass hole friends pushing them down after i positioned them but i fixed that right up by cranking them down with lock washers and nylon nuts
