It's not bad small shake to it but tuck it up next to the seat a bit and it doesn't move... and with torque running you have access to just about everything obd2 on these trucks

I got the cheap elm327 for the ranger initially but I have a new one coming in the mail because the elm doesn't seem to want to work on my other truck the elm was only like 10$ but the newer one was about 60$

Alright guys, it's been a minute but I'm still here. Since the last update I haven't done much to the truck just a new set of tires, still BFG All terrains, pulled the drop in bed liner our thinking of getting a spray in liner done. She decided to fight an 18 wheeler and came out with a slightly dented front passenger fender but that's all.

I've been thinking about regearing because I have such low gearing it doesn't like to get up and go. Would it be easier to just get an axle from a junkyard and put that in? Any input would be appreciated!

Alright well hopefully it will happen this weekend but the truck is getting a lot of much needed work. Transmission fluid and filter change, fuel filter, serpentine belt, and coolant flush. Hopefully a couple of these things will fix the issues I'm having with the truck but we will see. Probably going to do a tune up soon as well.

The check engine light finally came on and as soon as it did the hesitation/rough idle on light throttle stopped but started happening again. It was a code for a bad EGR valve, advanced auto and napa both had three different egr's pop up for my truck and none of them matched the numbers on my oem EGR. Autozone had one in stock and only one option came up so I purchased that one and installed it. I'm occasionally still having the issue but it's in and out, the code finally cleared but came back again. Any ideas?

I also got the trans fluid and filter changed and the new fuel filter on. Still need to change the serpentine belt and flush the coolant.

No not yet man. I just recently quit my job to focus on college so I probably won't get around to it for a while now unless I run into some money.
