The center section of the back wall cover is removable, I used a very sharp knife to cut out the molded mount for the jack kit.
Bought a small roll of automotive black carpet from Menards along with a small tub of carpet glue.
I used some old scrap plastic to cover the hole left by the jack mount and glued the carpet over the back wall plastic cover. Clamped it down over night, and VOILA! A carpeted back wall!
I added a stand-off cover on top of the sub box made from 1/2 plywood, and PVC pipe adapters with the threads cut off to deter any would be thieves. Plus I can set things like groceries and stuff behind the seats.
Yes, I know "But the amps will get too hot"- No, they wont. There is about 3/4 of an inch of space above the amp, and I dont have them on for long durations or at such a high demand for power to get them heated up.
