This project has been going on since about October..not much work has been done being extremely busy with work but the parts have been piling up.

These pictures are from another forum, and im just copying some of my posts..

2004 Ford Ranger Edge, 4x4 -- 2002 Superduty axles, Dana 60/sterling 10.50 -- 46" XML military tires -- 20" MT classic IIs -- 3 link -- coilovers -- divorced NP205 -- hydraulic steering..um..dunno what else to say..

enjoy the pictures

pulling it outside to do this....

got the cab back on the truck..took off the body lift..set wheelbase its sitting at like 126" also got it sitting at around right height..the tires are 46" tall..im going to run some 49s when the build is done so thats why it seems really big in the pictures..

middle the truck the frame is 48" off the ground.
brake lights are at 65"
headlights are at 55"
and overall height of the truck is 102"

im 5'9" to give a little idea..

yeahh 4.0 -- Im running 5.38 gears..biggest they make for the axles..

my motor only has 60k on it..it runs fine no reason to swap it out now..so ill blow it up first. Since Im running a divorced transfercase which means a 2wd tranny. When the motor swap comes i can use the tcase and just lengthen/shorten the shafts..

Ill swap something in bigger when the time comes I just dont see a point right now..plus id like to tackle one project at a time...

finally got to work on the beast...

got the tubing bender up and running. all my Ballistic joints will be here Thursday only took a month to get

got my truss made on the front axle..well half of it rear isnt on yet. Also my DOM and joints came in for the tie rod bar. The joints are on the wrong side of the knuckle because down there it doesnt rub on lock..I have to do some handy work to the diff cover to clear it but dont wanna start machining on it until I get gears to make sure that they will clear

next few days will be the rear truss and start of subframe..

Was the 4:88s to low for the 37s on the highway? Cause that is most of daily driving here in Colorado.
